Is your Bent EZ3-USX really bent? Mine has built in Lean

My wife has a couple of trikes. A terra trike when she feeling lazy and a Sun EZ3 USX when she wants a workout.
I have read about all the problem with Sun trikes.. we have not had these problems. A few minor things but we bought it used and you get what you get.
This trike has a noticeable lean to the left when sitting on level ground. There are no indications of frame damage or even paint cracking which would be there if something was bending. It is very easy to see the top tube and bottom tube do not line up. It is enough to wear the front tire uneven. Does not effect the ride or the use we have for this trike but I would like to know how many escaped the factory like this.? I did have one response and that owner said his was perfectly straight.

Now if you have never notice this before and yours is indeed "bent" Sorry I brought it up

Put a level on the trike and take a pic.

No way mine could have lean like you speak of, Mine has been 100% trouble free.
More than 10 years old now, Ridden carefully and garage kept.
I keep putting the Kenda tires on it, brake pads, nothing more, ever.

If the frame isn't straight, is it a warranty issue? Are you sure it isn't a soft tire? Bend axle? (Probably not or you would have picked up on that by now...)

Ok thanks for inputs. Further checking reveals that the problem is in the "hinge" portion on the frame. Back from the spring.. everthing is level and as it should be. Front of the spring.. there is definite tilt to the left. You can see is pretty easily in the spring mounting tabs or ears. Nothing loose in the folding joint so I am back to factory had the jig set wrong or something like that.

It's not uncommon for a bike to be 'un-straight' coming out of the weld shop. Minor corrections (called 'cold-setting') should be done before going on to get painted. Doing it now will be beyond the ability of most owners. Another possibility is a worn bushing, which is a lot easier to fix.

Bushing is solid.. no side to side play can be felt. It does wear front tire uneven.. I can live with that. My thread was really to find out if there is others out there that came out with the same "jig" screw up??
