Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

A really dressed out Tour Easy

Headed south to the Rio Grande Valley in S. Texas on a job related matter yesterday. IN the distance I could see a bike coming towards me on north bound side in the emergency lane. As it got closer I could see he was running a flag so figured it was a bent. When we passed each other it was a Tour Easy running a Zipper fairing. It was piloted by a gent in what appeared his retirement years. The odd thing was that he was being escorted by a huge motorhome that was pulling a SUV!!!! All this plugging along in the emergency lane at what looked like 15 mph.

Wish I had a camera!

Only in Texas.

He probably said to his wife "you know what I'd rather ride the bent. You follow with the motor home". He wont be arguing with his wife for the next few miles.
