anyone with any thoughts, or experience with one?

There was a review a few months back in Cycling Plus, that I seem to recall was pretty positive.

Aren't those ~$2K? It looks like a souped up BikeE. A BikeE is fun around
town, but is murder on a long day. For that kind of $ you could get a Vision.

what is a vision?
money isn't the problem, just want to make sure I'm getting a useful, comfortable bike to ride...

Go HERE

I just came back from Cycle South Carolina where there were 12 Visions out of
270 riders. It's a great bike. Nothing hurts when you get off of it.

I paid ~$1400 3 years ago.

to me the vision prolly seems more useful for riding around a lot, but for just riding around town and stuff, I think the Cannondale looks a lot better...

I had a Vision with Uss, it was great for distance ridding but I found it inconvienient for running errands or tooling arround town as it was a little ackward jumping on or off. I bought a BikeE put on fenders, underseat racks for grocerie fold out type bags, It works great for errands and in the rain. I don't think it is the answer for long fast rides. For that I now use a Lightning p38. The Cannondale looks like a similar type bike to the Bike E. You might also look at the Rans Clwb, I have read a lot of real good reports from owners. Karl

There have been a lot of discussions about this bike. As I remember, the pluses were: fully suspended, rear disc brake, awesome fit & finish, good components, compact. Minuses were: pricy, not a lightweight, not a Bacchetta, made by a mainstream bike company (how dare they!).

well, I got one today, and let me tell you all, I LOVE THIS BIKE...

I rode it for 20 miles today, already more than my usual daily trip, and it was 98 degrees today!!!!

I'll keep you all updated as I get more used to the machine...

I got a Cannondale 2 1/2 weeks ago. I LOVE IT. I had never riddena recumbent before ansd had a choice of a BikeE and the C'dale. I love the suspension as I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hand and I have no pain while riding.

Today was my first 5 mile ride. I am trying to do hills and it is getting better but I love my Cannondale.:D
