Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Looking for a trike with both hand and foot cranks

I am looking for a trike used or new with both hand and foot cranks in texas/Dallas area.

I want to primarily use it for my leg strengthening and some physical exercise as I use crutches to walk and little bit of electric scooter. Child carrying trails are prefferable.

Hand-and-foot powered trikes are pretty rare and (as Jan pointed out) are more well-known in the adaptive cycles community.

You might want to get in touch with Richard Rau in Corvallis, Oregon. He makes a hand-and-foot powered trike called the Quadraped. I've run into him a couple times... he's even got a tandem.

Here's an article about him: Richard Rau and the QuadraPed - The Corvallis Advocate
