Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Any information on Performer Recumbents

There is someone selling a 2017 Performer Unicorn on the local Craigslist site.
https://killeen.craigslist.org/bik/d...521884891.html
Owner emailed me that he purchased it new in 2017. But I am having a hard time finding any information about these. And they are not listed under bicycle blue book either.
Does anyone know mre about this brand? Or is this some dubious brand only sold online?

Performer is AFAIK the biggest maker of 'bents in Taiwan. They have a very good rep for quality and value.

I owned a Performer Agenda semi-lowracer several years ago, liked it very much but foolishly got rid of it. I'm currently working on thinning the herd to make room for a Performer folding fwd highracer.

So they are completely legit. They haven't had much luck getting a US distributor and sell mostly online these days.

RBR in State College is an importer and the owner, Rob, is a heck of a nice guy. He can probably answer any of your questions.

Just this week I saw models show up on ebay and Amazon.

Intriguing prices for new bents.

The models generating the most buzz lately on Bentrideronline are the carbon mid-racer and the carbon trike. Higher-end, for sure; but they still have the aluminum-framed bikes and trikes.
