Rohloff Hub Maintenance?
 

I have a Rohloff internal hub on my HP Velo Trike. Maintenance recommendations call for changing the Rohloff's oil annually or every 3000 miles. Since my last oil change last year, due to health issues and other factors, I rode less than 1000 miles. I expect to ride a total of about 1000 - 1200 miles this year.

So is it really still necessary to change the oil again at this point?

You could probably get away with a little more time but it doesn't hurt to take care of it and replace unless you have had some really soft miles on it.
