Rode my roadie after 8 weeks of bent riding
Man, it felt weird. I needed to take some stuff to the office and my messenger bag was the best way to do it. It felt like I was riding through molasses. The wind resistance felt immense as I struggled through the dense air. It just felt like I couldn't get going and immediately lost all my speed the second I stopped pedaling. My butt didn't hurt but my hands sure felt the difference. 
I figure a 4 mph slower average speed.
Still, the df still gives me the greatest feeling of bike control. And it's the best for imperious stares at the cagers who crowded me at the road construction areas.

I took the roadie again today, more stuff for the office. As I was riding I thought to myself that it reminded me of riding a mountain bike after being used to a roadie. Same sensation of increased effort and energy dissipation. You know how those knobbies feel, like they are sucking all your energy, and the upright bars? That's how the roadie feels now.

I've been riding my new steel DF for two months. It goes up the steep hills in my neighborhood much better than my Aero.
But Sunday I did a flat ride on the Aero, and it was like "Who flipped off the brakes?"
The DF rides likes it has a parachutt behind it, but it goes up hills like a goat. Pick your poison.

I took my Cannondale for a quick run to the shops after barely a week on the 'bent, and felt like I was gonna fall over the handlebars. I have been assimilated.
