Leg Pain
I put in 45 miles on the Silver Comet yesterday, from one paved end to the other.
When I got home, my legs were in a lot of pain.
Seems I forgot about that whole sunblock thing. OWWW!
Otherwise, a great way to spin the day.

At work I saw three cases of sunburn from Saturday activities. Still wearing long sleeve jerseys because I want to put off sunblock as long as possible.. The legs, especially lower legs are more at risk on a bent.

BTW, have you ever crossed into AL? The website says it's offroad cycling across the border. I'm also curious if GA is completely finished yet.

The trail currently stops a few miles west of Rockmart, then (I hear) picks up for about the last ten miles to Alabama. I started at the Nathan Dean trailhead and rode west. It stopped right at Highway 278. It looks like they are putting in a bike path alongside 278 to connect the two paved sections.
Haven't rode into AL yet. the BAMA ride this October plans to ride the on the SCT trail and collect money to finish the rough parts of the Chief Ladiga trail.
