Ease of Transporting/Shipping for Touring

I'm in the research phase of going 'bent. Getiing a lot of ideas on the forums. Haven't seen one shipping/transporting for touring. I like to tour and occasionally fly to where I bike. How does one transport/ship a 'bent? Which 'bent is best(besides a BikeSatrday) for shipping/transporting, including trikes? All opinions are welcome and thanks.

You could look at one of the folding trikes that Greenspeed has. I think the GLO and GTO are folders? Not positive but I know they have a few.

Rans Rocket is slightly annoying to rack, but it gets there. For the annoyance, recumbent is still way better than having a tiny saddle up your... well, you know.

Haven't flown with it yet.

The closest thing I've seen to a "recumbent bike box" is a cardboard assembly that is custom made. I've never seen a commercial hard-shell box, at any price, for a non-folding recumbent.

If anybody knows of one, I'd love to hear it!
