Recumbent Videos Online
I found this awesome 4 minute lowracer film on Google Video:
https://video.google.com/videoplay?do...ecumbent&hl=en
The guy is riding a Zox. I don't know if it took him 4 minutes to get down the hill, but that ride looks wicked!
Another great video:

A Velomobile rally in Europe someplace. Nice footage of how fast those things can go, including a GPS reading. They got pulled over by the cops for speeding!
There are other recumbent videos at both of these sites. Hey, if you have your own videos, post 'em on line so we can all see.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

IIRC the low racer in the Python clips is rather weird: the apparent USS bars are just something to hold on to, the actual steering is done with the legs and by leaning, in the same way one rides a DF 'no hands'. A rather scary bike to ride on the road, learning curve is very steep.

Yeah, the Pythons are little "different", but very satisfying to ride once you get the hang of them. The handle bars are primarily a place to put the brakes and shifters. While learning to ride them, your hands are out to the sides for balance like a tight-rope walker's, plus it keeps them out from under the bent should you unexpectedly wipe out. After getting proficient enough on the bent, you can ride with your hands relaxed and just resting on the bars, but for long stretches where you didn't need to brake or shift, it's more comfortable to lace your fingers and just put your hands on your stomach/chest and ride with no hands. It took us about 150 km of practicing before we were brave enough, and stable enough to ride on the roads. You can steer with your shoulders, hips, or feet (or any combination of them at once) and by gently pushing down on one handle bar or the other.
