Bike E Newb

I've recently bought a Bike E and, having even more recently moved to the flat Fenlands of the UK, started using it as a commuting bike.

It's a lot of fun and I've certainly no regrets about buying it, but I have to say that I'm still not a fan of twist shifts. Has anyone had any experience of fitting trigger shifts and whether it is possible/worth doing?

Also, track stands? Possible or not?

You should be able to install any shifter that matches the derailers.

General consensus is that a trackstand isn't possible with a recumbent. But, that consensus might not be accurate and a BikeE isn't exactly a recumbent [open to debate]. Anybody doing trackstands on a recumbent or a BikeE specifically?
By the way, I've used and am using Gripshift shifters on several bikes but am just recently considering switching the Tailwind to trigger shifters.
