RECUMBENT deals on eBay or Craigs List

Seeing as the recumbent crowd has to post For Sale items in the For Sale forum, I thought maybe a thread of "good finds" might be an alternative.

I was searching for some Phil Wood rings, when I came across this and thought I'd pass it along.
And start the thread off.

I'd bid, just for all the Phil parts on this one. but I already have an ample supply of bents.

Wow! That's some amount of upgrades, labor, and $$$ on top of an Infinity. Here's a slipstream steal on craigslist which would be mine if it wasn't yellow. https://denver.craigslist.org/bik/582207855.html

Spotted these while surfing the ads- don't know if they're "deals" or not, just ads:

You would let color affect the purchase at half off? *Sheesh*

I have one on order at full boat right now. Then again, I am getting a custom color as
well, but only cause it is on order. Kind of a translucent fade yellow/green that is suppoed
to change with the view of the bike.

I would get the one here xcept I need a slighly longer frame... *sigh*

LOL, does that make me OCP? I want blue (1st) or grey (2nd) but would pick up most anything but the yellow one. Don't know why I reject the yellow ones, but I do.

Yellow is a much faster color than blue, or even red. How could anyone not want yellow!

Nope, red is the color of STOP, which is the slowest speed. At a metric century last year, the first 8 bikes to finish were yellow, natural carbon, or natural titanium. The titanium with yellow decals was up near the front, right behind the full yellow.

Speaking of eBay and Craigslist, this search gadget finds items that are misspelled and possibly never bid on and purchased. I've used this trick on eBay before but had to do it manually until now.

Last year I got a sudden case of recumbent lust, so I started searching Craigslist. I found a Vision R40, practically brand new, for $500, which I talked the owner down to $450. And it was just a few blocks from work.

Alas, it is red and therefore slow, but I like it anyway.

BTW, I've found 2 bikes on Craigslist last year by going to google and typing "craigslist recumbent" or whatever bike I happen to be looking for, into the search. It turns up Craigslist ads from all over the country.
