converting my burley canto from SWB to LWB

I have a 2004 Burley Canto that is convertible. I have the steering arm and bearing headset (???) I am no mechanic and not sure about the correct part names. I am planning on taking the bike to a shop and have them do the conversion. I don't have a bike stand and would rather have them do it first and let them show me the steps once I am better prepared.

However, the bike shop would like me to do a little research to see if I truly do have all the right parts before they get into it. Even better would be a manual.

Anybody out there have a Burley Canto or another bent' that converts. I thought I would start with a thread and then do some Googling.

thanks for listening.

Burley Canto Conversion

I have a convertible Burley Limbo that should be about the same to convert. All you should need is the steering bar and a longer front brake cable. You just remove the threadless fork and move to the forward position, on mine there are headsets in the front and rear positions. Should be a fast swap once you have done it a couple of times.
Hope this helps. Good luck, Mel
