It's as wide as it is long. No choice but to 'take the lane' on the road. Interesting.

That's a very nice trike. Do the seats move to accomodate different leg lengths of each rider?

I've had people stop me to ask about the bike, everyone who sees us on it thinks it really cool. What I'm curious about is would it sell, is it a product that people would actually buy?

Great idea; I had a sociable PPV a long time back- and it would not fit through turnstiles, cross an old wood bridge, or smoothly fit the bike path. I got the "are you crazy?" frown a lot.

Is the pedalling independant or do both have to pedal at the same cadence, like on a tandem?

Very interesting. I'd enjoy reading more about it. You would also likely find considerable interest at Bentrider Online.
Yes, I think there would be able to see some of these depending, of course, on price. They might be especially attractive for a rental market.

This is pretty damn close to what I'm looking for. I am 65 and my wife is disabled. I've been trying to find a sociable trike but have not found one I can afford. Do any of you have plans, sources, or information. I really need an upright and not a recumbant as my wife can't get up or down.
Thanks for any help,
Dexter

To start a new thread in this forum, go to the top and click the forum name, i.e. "Recumbent". This link will do the same thing: https://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php?37-Recumbent
You should see a button that says "Start New Thread". Click that and start typing away.
Frankly, I've been trying to figure out the "search" function in the forum since it got updated a while back. It still doesn't work for me. Weird.

Dexter, I'm going to send you a private message with a web site for you to visit. It's not a secret web site or anything, I'm just afraid if I mention it in too many posts folks here will begin to think I am an employee of the site, and posting for publicity. This post is to let you know to check for a private message.

There are 3 different style of sociable recumbents on craigslists right now. If you go to searchallcraigs.com, then do a search for recumbent tandem, they are there for the searching. I can't remember what parts of the country they reside.
