New Catrike
I got me a new Villager catrike.......first ride was 3 miles, and I feel good.....I know it not much, but it was the first time in over 45 years.....

Pics!! :)

Congratulations on the new Catrike. Just keep after it and your mileage will increase. Enjoy the ride!
|
Three miles is great. Far too many trikes and bikes spend their lives garaged because proud new owners expected to push too far too fast.
If you start out keeping it slow, ride to maximize comfort and keep accumulating seat time good things begin to happen. |

well..what you think...........have a little pain in my knee today so I'll take today off and start back Monday |
Sweet ride, just take your time. If you had knee pain first ride check to make sure you boom is set to your xseam. Leg should be straight with heel on pedal and slight bend in knee when you are clipped in
|
If that is a Villager they now come with gear shifting on the front end. Mine only has 9 gears - only one set of teeth at the front end.
|
Yeah, that is curious... may be an upgraded Villager? Here's what the new ones look like:

Turning circle 14"? You mean 14'? I've never seen any trike that could turn in anywhere near a foot.
