EZ Sport Idler Replacement

I am trying to replace the idler wheel on the EZ Sport that I recently bought used. I've got it down to the threaded bolt that goes through the frame which is bent. (the bolt not the frame) I've tried to straighten the bolt and have made some progress getting it out about a half an inch. The problem is I am getting close to stripping the head in the bolt. Any helpful suggestions appreciated. BTW, I have the aluminum frame.

Cut the head off the bolt and push it through the opposite way. You will obviously need a new bolt, but one should be available.
