zem swiss quadracycle-still in business?

I always had a dream to build a electric/hybred quad with a body on it,

something the kids can drive to school when its raining and snowing.

saw the ZEM and also saw the price, but no direct link to their company anymore.
I think they had the niceset engineered quad on the market.

Now if i was to build a quad I woud try to make the most lightweight thing i could.

the body would be skin on frame like a model airplane,
build as much as possible out of wood and epoxy,
fiberglass leaf springs,
nice 700c wheels.
belt drive,

mike in finland
