Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Huh?

They are bikes in which you ride in a reclined position with your feet in front.

Check out this link for various types: https://www.foolscrow.com/pages/happyphotos.html

The difference between a recumbent and a BMX is night and day. If you like to ride in the mud and do all sorts of crazy stunts, then you should keep your BMX. On the other hand. If you want to ride a bicycle that is painfree and with a full cushion seat enabling you to ride for hours. Buy a recumbent.

Once you get hooked on a bent. Your BMX days are over.
You'll wonder what in the world ever made you want to ride a small single geared bicycle with a hard seat in the first place.
