What's the story with BROL?
I registered at bentridersonline but never received the activation email either in my inbox or spam folder. Used their contact form and requested that the email be sent again. No email and no response. I'm getting the feeling they don't want new members. Should I just give up?
I'm considering registering with recumbents.com, but their forums don't seem to be as active. Not to mention their forum skin is awful. Seriously, recumbents.com, get something like MyBB. It's free and it works great.

Send an email to Bryan@brol.com (use the right domain). They've had a big problem with spam recently. Newbies are definitely welcome.

If you look at their "New to Recumbents" section under General Discussion, it is obvious that a fair number of new riders are posting there. It must be the problem mentioned by other posters above.

Email admin@bentrideronline.com. I have to manually approve all of the accounts now due to SPAM issues. Yours may have been flagged and deleted.

recumbents.com is the HPV racing site. It's active but with fewer members it can appear sleepy. I agree about the forum skin but they all have "day jobs" over there so it's just not "pretty".

Recumbents.com is active and very educational in training techniques, modifications, building and racing.
Bentrideronline is the site for everything recumbents, especially for the beginner and has a more social feel to it.
I recommend both.

How about a smaller forum? https://www.ohpv.org/forums/ is for Oregon/Washington based recumbent riders. It's a small, small world...
