TerraTrike Fenders - Deluxe vs Standard
I need a fender set for my TerraTrike Tour (20" wheels). I see the fender sets that TT sells and there's the 30 dollar standard fenders and the 100 dollar deluxe fenders. However the product literature isn't doing much to convince me the deluxe ones are three times better than the standard ones. I don't mind paying for the Deluxe but I'd just as soon not spend the extra money if I don't need to.
I haven't seen either fender sets first hand. Is there a 3rd party I should be looking at instead? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something to keep gravel and cow turds from kicking up off the road into my teeth (yum!). I may attempt to mount a headlights on top of the fenders at some point if that makes any difference. I travel a mix of paved, poorly paved and dirt roads.
Can anyone with some better insight make a recommendation for me please?

You might have better luck just calling TT and asking what the difference is. I've had really good luck with their customer service when just calling to ask questions like that. No high pressure sales or anything. Same with Hostel Shoppe.
