Light Brackets?

I'm in the process of building a USS "bent" and I'm looking for lights &/or brackets. Any sources, or is this also going to be a custom job?

The best I've see was the ones made by Bill Haluzak in Santa Rosa, CA for his USS SWB bikes. Do a search and call him. They were $30. and were positioned one behind the other where you could mount a light up front and your speedo closer to you.

There is the Vision mount, sold by Hostelshoppe:

It mounts in the derailleur tube up front.

I tape a flashlight to my recumbent when I ride at night. Duct tape is cheap and so are plastic flash lights. No need to spend money on a big name light when you can make one CHEAP that works.

Yup, when it comes to safety, that is what I want to be....cheap. I hope you save alot of money, you'll need it to pay the doctor or undertaker.

It only takes a few yards of duct tape to secure a flashlight to my handlebar or helemt. My flashlight has been taped to my recumbent all winter and it will never fall off.

I got 3 rolls of duct tape CHEAP at the Family Dollar store last week. Duct tape and recumbents are a match made in heaven.

You'll have to excuse Spuds. He's skipped his medication again....

Well, what I did on my Sun EZ-3 USX I use a handle bar and that thing that holds it in place, placed it in the front and could mount anything to it.

This is what I use to tape my lights to my bike and my helmet.
https://www.duct-tape.com/

$5.00 a roll and it is as strong as one of those expensive items sold at the LBS.

Spuds,
Riding slow and walking my homemade recumbent up hills.
