Semi truck bicycle
Hows it going everybody? Just want to share something different with you. The bike has a 110 pitbike engine with a suicide shifter clutch combo with a top speed of 50mph. The term grocery getter has just been redefined...

What's it like when the rear-most wheel lifts the center (driving) wheel off the ground? Love the trailer hitch.
Sylvia's "Myrtle the Turtle" trike has a Cargo Monster extension and an Ecospeed electric assist. She rode it most of the way across the U.S. a couple years back:

That was my thought too. Great minds must think alike. It would suck to ride up a driveway apron and lose drive. The concept would work better as a FBB FWD. OTOH, considering how much weight that could hold, maybe a trike would be better - I would not want to try balancing the bike with 500 lbs of junk in the stake bed.

And while this is technically a trike, I'd add one more wheel for stability.

Would be more impressed if the semi truck bike were entirely human powered.
How much does that puppy weigh?

Looks too heavy to be practical as a human powered vechile. You'd be working hard just to get it moving.

Never been too much of a real problem. You just cruise across and the drive tire catches up. Not to mention the rear tire been purposely mounted higher to help with those situations.

What's the other frame in front stuff for -- attaching a body to make it look like a semi tractor?

The whole idea was it to be framed to look like a semi. Thats why the front end and the third wheel is there. If i wanted to build a normal looking recumbent i assure you that extra stuff wouldnt be there... Lol

And for the weight? Im not sure but there is over 40 foot of steel in it. You aint gonna throw it over your shoulder and hike up to your second story apt, just in case you were wondering...
