morning crit

ack. so a few of us stayed up all night to go to the morning crit, which was pretty awesome, actually (the staying up all night part).'cept the crit was a no go! we waited from 5:15 to 6:15 for alexi to show up, and he never came. does anyone know if he's ok? we got a wake-up call from him around 5, but then he never came. so we sort of muttered and jumped around to stay warm, and passed around a bottle of french cider someone had brought with them, and then took a slow, um, "victory lap" around the park before caravaning back to cambridge.

3 awesome people from broadway bikes showed up with matching lights, fenders, and bells, which sort of made it worth it. and we saw some nutty runners in short shorts.

Whats up everyone I think I woulda been DFL if I have finished the alley cat... I missed the mystic river channel stop (I ended up in a tunnel at some point, I'm pretty sure bike weren't supposed to be there because it seemed kinda like a interstate) and the Lincoln St. and Almay St. stops... I had fun while it lasted! If only I knew boston better... see you guys another time

Maybe next time I won't get ass backwards lost.

I should have gottin someone's cell number..

wish i could have made the crit and the race, but i got laid off on friday and i'm still feeling pretty raw about it. especially since my latest project (no not the ghetto 7.5lb bike) is now on hiatus.

If I wasn't 1000 miles to the south in crime central I would have been there.

If anyone was wondering... the race ended up being exactly 20 miles. Pretty sweet. That's all I've got.
