i agree with greg, something should happen this weekend. and it should be a true winter warmer with shots instead of beer! no offense to your amazing projectile vomit scott (or alex's induced vomiting), but i feel that chugging freezing cold beer would be painful. the beer was cold enough the last time. and this way no one ditches the drink before it's done so it'll be based more on how fast you are as a rider.

whiskey.....? Saturday is my birthday and I have to work. I'm going to try to see if I can work 7-4 instead of 9-6 or just see if I can go in at 9 and just leave earlier. Then somehow make my way over to freezepop/ad frank at TT's. But if there is a blitz, I might have to join this one.

speaking of rides and the weekend:
anyone up for a ride tomorrow (thursday) night? the always unreliable weather.com says it should be mild(er) than the past 2 days and no rain.
also, (still according to weather.com) friday looks pretty bad but saturday and sunday might be ok.

sorry. that was about the winter warmer that we were talking about...schlitz blitz, what have you. it's getting together in allston and doing match sprints, skid and track stand competitions, team sprints (involving beer but you can sit that one out if you'd like) and footdown. scott usually organizes them.
however, i'm in for a thursday night ride. i wasn't able to get anyone to brave the cold and ride with me tonight.

basic overview of the bfssfg boston communtiy. actually for anyone who just started reading.
-every thursday night: ~1 hour ride, 10pm, christian science fountain (by the pru/reflecting pond).
-some weekends: schlitz blitz/winter warmer, a street/alley type thing in allston (help), a few hours long, involves sprints, trackstand comps, footdown, skids, and the "schlitz blitz" which involves drinking and sprinting at the same time.
actually now that I am talking about it, would anyone be down with setting up a consistent, long sunday morning ride (30 miles+)?
p.s.: I am going to be gone this weekend so no schlitz blitzing for me, not even bikeless boat-shoed blitzing.

EF! i'm going to be in the mountains this whole weekend for work! son of a *****.
let's hold it off for this week, I want to find a week EVERYONE CAN MAKE IT.
we'll do it on a saturday and the next morning we can follow it up with seans 30+ ride.
let's decide between January 27th and February 1st.
we'll make it a blitz to end all blitzes.
plus i need time to design a new effing spoke card.

oh come on now. it wasn't so bad, it was a pretty nice ride if you just disregarded the rain. it wasn't even that cold!
