www.floridafilmfestival.com

if youre interested at all try to check out whatevers playing at the enzian. pretty rad indie theater that serves good food during the movie.

Make your way over to St. Pete... we have the Grand Prix in town this weekend. We took the bikes on the track this past weekend. Pretty cool considering they run these things on the city streets where we usually ride our bikes.

Philly kids...go ghost ride that Fixed Fight thread for a while. You guys were suppose to keep the hype alive until race day. What happened?

babychris 03-27-07 07:07 PM

we thought we ghost rid it too much. we'll start again.

HelluvaStella 03-27-07 07:19 PM

I'm getting ready for the pre-pretzel beer meeting. When I get back I want to see the comments past 818 like Ashley said. Come on, eh?

babychris 03-27-07 07:20 PM

it can happen. I cant do it all on my own. well, I suppose I could. but it wouldnt be that fun.

babychris 03-27-07 07:20 PM

also, you guys with your jobs and such missed out on a sweet trip to the beach today.

lasertotheface 03-27-07 11:27 PM

failure.

babychris 03-28-07 01:32 AM

I tried.

HelluvaStella 03-28-07 06:12 AM

Sadness. Let's give it a go today. Who's with me?

I'll be stuck in *****assa with the little girl's great grandmother on the weekend. Maybe I can steal her car and come down to St Pete.

The Enzian sounds cool, I'll have to ask my buddy if he knows of it. I'll be at the Redlight bar the rest of the time. And I think I'll have a bike to ride around...

jeac 03-28-07 07:48 AM

guys . . . we're never going to catch up to Toronto . . . :(

mide 03-28-07 08:13 AM

I do believe tonight requires more blackout drunk cycling on my part. Nothing says fun like sprinting down chestnut in west philly.

oh yea, where will the pictures from the race last saturday be posted?

I Like Peeing 03-28-07 08:20 AM

Hopefully you mean 38th and below.

maxknee 03-28-07 08:23 AM

we are friendz

mide 03-28-07 08:24 AM

yep yep! and last night while drunk I found my new favorite thing to scream at pedestrians crossing while I have the green. I've tried oi, HEY, and more descriptive things like BLUE POLO SHIRT. But nothing works as well as drunkenly screaming/slurring "haberdashery" at people.

seriously, try it.

Yeah, all of Skeletor's "yay yeah" and "hep hep" doesn't work for me. I'm back to "YO" now, but I'm going to try "haberdashery" today. I ride 38th/chestnut to 8th to walnut and up to 38th several times a day...my favorite bike routine.

ryand 03-28-07 08:46 AM

whats going on this weekend?
grilling and riding?
who has a grill?

bryanp 03-28-07 08:49 AM

haha wth josh, I was planning on riding home not sprinting home the whole time, I don't know how I got tricked into following your drunken sprints for that time. I think it was the drunken swerving that had me thinking you were going to hit something or just fall.

mide 03-28-07 08:51 AM

I was drunkenly swerving? and here I thought I was being a perfectly safe cyclist.

blackout drunk cycling for the win!

celephaiz 03-28-07 08:58 AM

who knows where i can score a bocce set on the cheap or at least relatively inexpensive? I cant wait for my friend to get back from ski country to start playing again. The weather is too good.

ryand 03-28-07 09:00 AM

bocce is awesome. in dc, two of my friends and i would meet on lunch break and play bocce in the park for an hour. so good.

see, that's what i'm talking about. Last summer we'd meet up in rittenhouse every now and then for it. But if i land a set, I'm definately going to try to get some lunch time action in wash sq.

chip thunder 03-28-07 09:07 AM

I'm with it. There's that bocce park not far from here.

ryand 03-28-07 09:21 AM

10th and Carpenter has a bocce court, it was right down the alley from my old place on 11th. And its in a picnic area, so theres always that too.
