It's been done, hence my own knowledge of how horrible it is, but here's one knowing about won't help you through though the surprise is awful if you don't know

Best place; Late in the race

Materials;
1 bottle BBQ Sauce - cold, but not too cold
1 bottle Tequila - warm
1 shot glass

Riders approach, are poured ( they wait while its poured ) a shot of BBQ sauce, bad but no biggie, when they hand back the shot glass, add shot of tequila to dirty shot glass & return to rider. That's nasty

non-drinking racers can substitute a handfull of potato chips for the tequila. Either way, when you're hot & sweaty & out of breathe it's a horrible, horrible checkpoint. Keep water hidden to give to racers foolish enough to be out of their own water, it's almost too cruel to let them go if they have no water

During the CMWC2005 alleycat, non-drinkers at the T* checkpoint had to take a shot of hot and sour sauce. That was pretty awful.

Bobbing for apples was a pretty mean non drinking stop at our race on saturday. It was kind of cold, and people with face makeup got screwed.
