QUICK: Should I send the Fuji Track Pro back or keep it and get a partial refund? Apparently 58 Fuji Track Pros are not as common as I thought, and Cycle Smithy bought- and then promptly sold- almost all of the last production run. And what I thought was a paint seam/crack is actually the edge of the decal. I'm leaning towards keeping it. It's not like it's a vintage classic or anything, it's a tool for track riding. AM I SO VAIN???

B, I know what you're getting at. You may not know this about me, but I'm all about style and not at all about substance. If I got a new bike and the paint was ****ed up, I'd be furious. But, I think you should try to get a partial refund and keep the bike, even though you want it to be perfect.

I know that about you TKGM. Why else besides appearances would someone get a Ph.D in aesthetic philosphical humanoid historicity or whatever it is you do?

when i first got my KHS, what i didnt know about it when i bought it, it had a crack in the downtube/headtube weld. i was pissed. but i waited 3 months for that godd@mn thing to get here from across the pond. i sucked it up and had it fixed locally. but simon's right.
contact the guy and if he's not willing to do anything about it, go to ebay. i dont know.. hm. maybe i shouldn't open my mouth sometimes.
