here's stuff you might care to know:
Friday Feb. 2nd 2007
7-9 PM: Stupor Bowl pre-pre-party and mini-art crawl at One-on-One or Cars-r-Coffins Coffee Shop. Stay posted for the final location, but this is going to be a small exhibit of tens years worth of crap, I mean, priceless memorabilia from the past nine years of Stupor Bowl. Can you believe it? Minneapolis messengers have somehow gotten their **** together for the past nine, going on ten years to throw this race. Rumor has it that the ORIGINAL MANIFEST may be taken out of its hemetically-sealed, achival museum case for a rare and special appearance at this event. (if we can track down Otto.)
9PM-bedtime: Pre-party and registration at Club Underground, at the Spring Street Tavern, Northeast Minny. Drink specials, music (local bands to be announced soon), registration, track stand competition, and more.
Saturday February 3rd, 2007:
10AM-1:30PM: last chance to register at One-on-One. Enjoy some coffee, oogle the bikes, and enjoy the Tour de France photo exhibit.
1:30: Ride over the top secret location for the start of the race.
2PM: Bang! Race starts, you're on your own for the next four hours.
6PM: cut-off time for last racers. The last stop will the Foundation Nightclub, fifth street and hennepin, downtown Minneapolis. That's all you get know about the race right now.
6PM-you're so wasted we call the bouncers: Foundation Nightclub. Announcing of the winners, handing out the sweet prizes, partying, and more local music.
Sunday February 4th, 2007: Let's all do brunch and Bloody Mary's someplace!
Monday February 5th, 2007: We all return to our normal lives...
That's all for now! Rumor has it that there will be custom bags for the men's and women's winners in both race categories (both open and drunk race) so start training now!
If you have any questions or want to volunteer contact: mduhrschultz at yahoo(dot)com
Just to pre-emptively answer that one kid who's under 21 and writes in about every race that has a bar stop, yes, you pretty much need to be of drinking age to participate. Sorry, see you in a few years.

I recommend this race to all. Drinking alot, 3 hour long race, running on ice, realy punk rock stuff, adrenaline and erections. I had a lot of fun in minneapolis, met a lot of nice people, and the city itself is pretty.I wish I could be there for Stuporbowl X. How many peolpe do you expect to come? 200+ ?

Given the turnout the last couple years, I'm guessing 200+ is probably pretty accurate. I'm not really sure, because I'm not doing any of the planning, just printing the fliers again and asked to post it here...

Final flier design is finally done:

And if you didn't get it from the flier, the website is up, but still kind of under construction:
www.stuporbowlmpls.com
See you all next month!

It was nuts - 278 racers, cold as hell. I ended up puke drunk/hungover at the first stop and went home to warm up and sleep a bit. I'm amazed anyone made it out, honestly...
And I have no idea how we're going to top it next year. Though I'm sure we'll find a way.

It was epic. Both the roadtrip from Pittsburgh and the race.

Well, who won? Actually, I guess it doesn't matter who won and as much fun was had by all. I'm definitely not missing the extremely cold winter there right now.......
