philly pretzel riders
i know a lot of you ride fixed/single
those of you who dont like the new 'crowds' are pretentious dicks
the pretzel ride is not yours, its not a secret, deal with it
so what you've been doing it since the beginning, oh man i'm jealous

I understand that feeling...kind of. I've never met a ****** at pretzel ride yet. Yet. It's still fun, and if you don't think so, leave right after you get your pretzels, or don't ride at all.

Compared to what it’s been over the past few months, the Twisted Tuesday Pretzel Ride crowd is small. Just 30 bikers are waiting at the base of the Art Museum steps.
There are a few dirty mountain bikes, a handful of older models, a couple of shiny new-looking road bikes and a bunch of well-worn workhorses. One guy rolls in on a low-riding recumbent bicycle.
Everyone is milling about, chatting in little groups, blissfully unaware that the launch time—11:45 p.m.—has passed.

You should have let him figure that one out on his own. When things are that painfully obvious...

elitists will always be elitists.
if you're too cool to associate with other like-minded people then i truely feel sorry for you.

myself and a handful of friends and people i know are usually regulars at the pretzel ride. Its just a good fun time, something to do on a tuesday night. the coverage is a little weird though, i mean what made people from PW want to do a story on it?
I Like Peeing - i've never met a ****** at the pretzel ride either. Everyone just chills and has a good time with people they know who ever they want.
Personally if i started a ride and it grew into something like the pretzel ride i'd feel accomplished, not get all pissed off and act elitist cause people found out about my secret ride that me and my friends used to put ourselves above other bikers. It was founded on bikeforums.net! come on, how did you not expect people to find out about it from the hundreds of people that read ss/fg section everyday?

I skimmed the whole article 'cause I'm bored, and then got to the part about the pretzels being 25 cents each. For real? Man, I gotta move to Philly, Chicago is killing my budget.

Max: go get pretzels on another night. Be rebellious. And for extra punx points, dumpster them.
