I separated from people right from the start and pretty much led out of towners to a check point then separted at that checkpoint to only have lead out of towners to another.

Tyler and Luke showed up just under 2 and a half hours after the start.

I know that some out of towners who didn't pick the best routes, and did everything had computers that showed under 40. I can try and map out how I would have done it on gmaps, and let you know a good possible mileage.

edit: https://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=747177

35.37 miles

Holy crap did that kick my ass. I rode stupid and only worked on one mission at a time, so it took me about 2 hours to finish the first mission. When I went out to Cleveland circle and found out that I would have to go out there again in order to finish, I said "**** it" and hit a couple checkpoints on the way back to the finish. Seriously, most confusing race ever. Thanks to jacob for having the balls/time to put on a race with that much coordination, but it made my brain (and legs) hurt so, so much.

hey aeroplane, i owe you some PREMIUM beers right about now. thanks for saving my ass after tire blowout #1. i'm sorry i lost you later on. my decision to ride balls out 100% of the time was kind of a bad one. by hour three i was in an awful lot of pain. hope you made it back to CT ok. i'll see you soon brother.

thanks for the map jacobs. My GPS map is hi-larious compared to this super concise route. You hardly touched the back bay. I spent most of my wasted miles there.

I think it's a good sign when the mix of love and hate is strong. You brought out both.

This was probably the best race format ever invented. Well done, Jacob.

It's just too bad that I was well into my second manifest when I had the epiphany that these manifests were meant to be run concurrently.

I like how one camera couldn't get all the bikes that showed up.

I thought it was reminiscent of the 12 Monkeys race. Wow. I have no regrets about my DNF. That was brutal, but Boston is a fun city to ride in. I'll definitely be back for another, as long as I can get a promise that nobody will be antiquing my contacts. That **** SUCKED.

Thanks for the positive words guys.

Croth and I will probably be doing another event on this scale in the fall, but I think our complex theme motivated race ideas were spent on this one, and the next one will be more about riding fast than thinking hard.......but I'm a mean person and love to make you stop and look at maps, so I guess we'll see what happens.

Tour De Boston. I wanna see a full out packs blitzing in the streets. But that's just me.

Maybe I should become a roadie.

We have some ideas cooked up about a live city traffic stage race of sorts. We'll see what happens.
