Jan 27 Albany, NY: Snow Crash
Sorry for the late notice, I thought I posted this here last week and apparently didn't.
So let me get this straight: a bike race, in Albany, in the dead of winter. Exactly what flavor of stupid are you?
Race start: 7pm, Jan 27
registration/sign-up starts 6pm
On Jan 27, I will give you Albany's second alleycat. While your friends and family are snuggled up under blankets watching movies or drinking some tasty beer, this bike race will have you playing in traffic on a (hopefully) snowy and icy night.
There will be ice! Art! Snow! State rent-a-cops! Math! Cold! And some of the finest tarmac in the city of Albany. Ride any bike or trike you like; as long as it's got pedals and wheels and is you-powered, you're all good to go. Don't think you need to be Lance Armstrong's second testicle, this'll be just as much of a good-spirited ride as it will be a race.
Entry fee gets you a neato spoke card and a shot at being the baddest, frostiest ass in Albany.
