Come join the fun of Athens' first alleycat race (to the best of our knowledge).
Tear up the bricks of Court Street while you complete various tasks to prove you're the hottest thing on two wheels. All are welcome - fixed, geared (you may need gears!), whatever. Just bring a bag, lock, and writing utensil.

Prizes galore, including a first prize wheelbuild from Catsus Wheels. We'll also be paying out to 50% of entries. Possibility of flowers and chocolates (and maybe some Graeter's icecream) to random racers.

Big bummer you can't make it - it looks like it should be pretty fun (and cold!)

When I told my ex-racer uncle about my acceptance into OU for graduate school, all he said was "make sure you ride in the Brick Crit." I guess he placed pretty well back in the day - and he had good memories of the race.

There used to be a brick street crit in Oxford back in the day. Athens vs. Oxford on the same day; race it up!

We had a pretty successful event with good turnout despite the cold weather. WE got really constructive advice on how to make it better the next time.

Three people turned out for the Oxford race, so we cancelled it; it will be rescheduled for the spring when hopefully the wussies who didn't come this time will be enticed by beautiful weather.
