checkpoints:
stanley a ringer playground
cambridge st and mass tpke footbridge
somerville ave and medford st
bunker hill memorial
summer and a streets
parker hill playground
otherside cafe
i, however, only did the first 2 check points before my bike decided to break down, yet again. how is it that my bike survived monstertrack, as well as riding over the 59th street bridge and 8miles along queens blvd in slush/ice/snow/salt, but the 2 times i've raced in boston i managed to not finish?
i think i might have to start posting more in the 'i hate boston' thread...or 'boston hates me/my bike'

great race guys
you dslr guys need to post pics
walking up parker hill absolutely mutilated me, nevermind after doing that first checkpoint and my cleats being so full of snow I couldn't even get them (after doing the butt slide down the stairs). You guys are so going down next week.
PS: Nice work lauren, thanks for the party/show robin, thanks for putting on a great event Rob, and thanks everyone else.

by the way, i know alexi isn't on the forums, but those of you you helped him out with the race/event, just wanted to thank you for a great time that was had.
a little too much of a good time, as you can tell, in my previous post.

haha. tristan, that's why you ride up the hill! and thank you.
oh and jacob...i hope you manage to come up with a little better prize for first girl than a box of tampons, considering all your sponsors...

awesome race, team g - thanks a lot! the knock-you-on-your-ass-icy-slope ringer playground checkpoint was a brilliant idea.
were there actually pink flyers sitting out there? i spotted a false alarm on a store window on prospect st in cambridge, but otherwise didn't see anything..

pictures of all the unhappy people jumping barrels @ #4 can be found at my flickr account.
bikeforums doesn't like my username and any links get messed up, so here we go:
url: https://www.flickr.com/photos/pixel**...7594555824115/
just change the astericks to the proper spelling (an "o" instead of a zero) of "wh0re"

The BMEF Paypal is being switched over to another account right now & the website itself is being revamped too i.e. do not use the info there, we'll have it fixedup in no time. So if Alexi or anyone else needs a hand getting your donation into the fund just drop me a line & I'll get you what you need & get from you the info we need to properly advertise your goodness on the new site.
shouston AT ifbma.ca or 416-538-3419
Cheers & Thanks AGAIN Boston!

I almost got hit by the bus in the background of the picture. I made eye contact with the driver and he froze in fear of me destroying his bus... with my mind. Whatever that means.
