yeah, hopefully I'll be able to actually see what some of you NY kids really look like... just take Metro north straight into New Haven. $30 round trip and you can take your bikes on the train.

ha! i look like i really need a shower. i've heard nothing but good things about the new haven races and riders, and i think a decent nyc crew will come out for this. handshakes and high fives will ensue.

Last year, KoNE conflicted with the Zelda Race. April 1st is a Sunday so I think I may be down for this. I believe you go points if you showed up with your Zelda card.

shrug. take it up with the organizers. they also snubbed the biggest city in CT (where i was living), so i held a grudge, but it was more for the novelty of having a grudge than feeling bad.

anyhoo, bitpart, you have no choice. you're coming. same goes for you, goldenskeletron. whiskey on the train on the way back. it will be lovely.

and after last weekend, bitparty can tell you how opposed i am to drinking on the train on the way TO the race.

yeah, i'm gonna try to make this my first race without a hangover. but dan, if nothing else last friday night was at least a good story. you can't tell me you didn't expect something like that anyway--its common knowledge we're a bunch of drunks. only one person wins the race, but everyone wins at the bar!

So this sounds like a lot of fun. Some bike ladies in Boston are thinking about coming. Will there be an after party? I'd like to get a good taste of what is fun about the city in New Haven also any must see dives? We will either try to find a place to crash on saturday night or just come in for the day.

Any New Haven non murderers have a carpet for crashing? Let me know.

I'm sure there will be an after party, but I haven't heard where yet. If you want places to check out then try Rudy's for beer and Mamoun's for falafel ($2.50 each!). I'll post something on the New Haven cycling board to see if anyone has floor/couch space.

Besides me with have three other potentials from boston going. We are trying to make the trip as fun as possible so we have not decided if we are going to go in on the saturday or just for the sunday. I think it would be awesome to bike around the city, go to some dive bars and meet some new haven bike people, so we will see. We are thinking about renting a car so you could probably get in on it.
