Bump.
People in the area should definitely try and make it to this thing. Charelston has a budding bike scene and something like this could really get some people interested in it and such. Plus bike races are just fun anyways.

Do you guys have a lot of races like this? A friend of mine moved up there six months ago and I don't really want to go visit unless I have a good reason...you know, like a race.

You should totally go up for it, Robb. I'm planning on having a bike and a face and not so much stupidity this time and driving up for it.

holla, South Carolinians! from Oct. 11 - 14, my girlfriend and I are working our employer's table at a conference in North Charleston. we are bringing our bikes and wanted to see if anyone was available and cordial e'nuff to ride around town with us and show what Charleston has (or doesn't have) to offer in a town.
we don't need a) place to stay; b) to be fed; c) much entertainment on your part, we just want to meet some rad people who will make our trip a bit more fun. Here is the address of the conference to give you an idea of where we'll be in relation to wherever you might be:
Embassay Suites / Convention Center
5055 International Blvd.
North Charleston, SC 29418
if no one is in town or up for getting together to ride around, any suggestions of places/restaurants/etc. to see/ride to would be appreciated.
