Albany, NY: Drunkdodger 5001!

Race start: 9pm, Oct 20
registration/sign-up starts 8:30pm
Come ride the second annual Drunkdodger race here in Albany! Yes, the original Albany alleycat race... TIMES TWO.
Why 5001? Because it's one more than five thousand, ese.
As always, we shall be ending at my favorite little corner bar with cheap eats and plentiful beer.
There will be art! Scene kids! Sorori*****s! Bike cops on poorly fit rebadges! Math! And some of the finest tarmac in the city of Albany. Ride any uni or bike or trike you like; as long as it's got wheels and pedals and is you-powered, it's all good. You will not be turned away for excess spandex or your lack of white belts.
Entry fee gets you a neato handmade spoke card and a shot at being the baddest ass in the Capital Region.
Pre-registration via email to soze@fork-bomb.com is encouraged for planning purposes. Dear god help me make a better guess at how many of these damn cards I gotta make.
PS - please don't get me arrested.

I have not ridden in far too long. It looks like I have to ride tonight/tomorrow to try to get legs again.
I have also heard that NYC will be here. Should be a good ol' time.
Oh, and I would say expect similar road conditions... Albany has the worst roads ever. Even the good ones are bad.

Roll the fatter tires, I generally ride 23c front / 25c rear, and even the 23c in the front is a little squirrelly. However DGS paved over the ****ty cobbles on Pine St. by City Hall. The *******s!
I've got all new evil tricks up my sleeve for this one. It'll be a little longer but a little flatter, too, so more people should be able to complete.
Steiner's is our sponsor, and they have a buttload of stuff for prizes so it should be raining awesomeness.
There's a max 40 slots. I've already made spoke cards and have started prepping race materials. In a couple hours I'll be finishing the course and then start writing manifests.
I'll try to remember to bring all of my shtuff this time to show people what I use to write races.

Glad everyone had fun.
our rather craptastic pictures
There should be more pics floating around somewhere, I'll definitely link them on my LJ when I get the link and I'll try to remember to put them here too.

Sorry I couldn't go. I was stuck in NYC for a class trip.
