Call me The Breeze
Bryant's date was so perfect! I think he had the wrong idea about where the bike fit into that plan though. If he'd have done it correctly, none of this would have happened.

I love newspaper articles that contain no news. God what puff piece, "Boss, we haven't editorially sucked Bryant off recently, can I do a piece , pleasepleaseplease" I hope he's embarrassed to have his name on that. Yes people have addictions, some have anger issues, it still is not OK to try and run them over. No matter how nice a date you feel they may have ruined. Sheesh what a piece of crap , I've been terribly embarrassed to be working there the past couple weeks. What the editors want, the editors get. Where/how they get their direction ... who knows.
Thank God it's an opinion piece, *just noticed*

Quick question for you guys since I know a couple of you guys are time ATAC fans, are the ATACs free float or are they spring returned float like my Shimano M520s?
I'm thinking I need a new clipless system since after increasing the release tension on my M520s (and thus, also increasing the tension against any float movement) I've been getting sore knees on longer rides. Since I'm not totally comfortable with having low tension on my Shimanos I'm looking to replace them with ATACs in the near future.

So the reception on a Rogers cell phone, at the Rogers house is terrible. Ironic.
Some random observations from last night.
Elvis Costello is extrememly cool.
Bill Clinton is tall.
And I am comfortable enough with my sexuality to admit Matt Damon is quite the handsome fellow.

Wow dude, thanks. I actually found a pair of ALIUMS for sale for 40 bucks NIB that I'm picking up tonight so even if I don't like them I should be able to make my money back. Reading up on the float system they use they should be a lot nicer on my knees

ATACS = happy knees
+1
Older atacs = super happy knees.
+1 also.

No kids but I have a nut I am not doing much with.
They still come up on Craigs/kijiji/e-bay...always pretty cheap and some of the best sealed, most durable pedals I have ever owned. The copious float and lateral movement is the icing on the cake.
I own 3 sets and don't think I will ever need pedals again.

Wow.
Just wow.
I picked up the pedals, go to change my cleats, and it looks like the screw heads holding my old cleat on have deformed from walking on them, and the proper sized allen key won't fit.
Jesus H christ
EDIT FROM 5 MINUTES LATER: Does anyone actually know of something you CAN'T fix with a dremel rotary tool? Dremel FTW!

Worked on one of these a couple weeks ago:
It is ridiculously annoying to cable/maintain it.

Anyone know where I can get an older italian frame? I like the nicer miyatas and stuff too .. craigslist hasn't been panning out. I've been itching for a new bike and none of the track frames really do it for me and that includes the surly stuff and the like. Thanks

I have a bike storage post available for anyone who wants it. It's a Minoura with hangers for 2 bikes and requires tension between ceiling and floor (not freestanding), so it won't work in my drop-ceiling basement, and has just been sitting around for 2 years now.
