Sacramento: American River Bike Trail

Greetings,

Anyone in Sacramento down for riding fixed gear/single speed on the trail?
Single speed mountain bikes would be cool, too.

There's all this talk about fixed gear riding as a good exercise/training tool, but I don't come across fixed gear riders on the trail too often.

not sure what you mean by trail. If your talking dirt then no I'm not down to ride on dirt on a fixed gear, maybe bmx with a freewheel but not fixed. I ride on the bike path there when I can, usually around discovery park. Fun in the summer to ride then take a dip in the river.
