red hook crit brooklyn 2014 anyone racing or spectating?
sign up opened yesterday. men's crit is waitlisted already.
this will be my 3rd time racing a red hook crit. it's probably my favorite event of the year.
anyone else racing or going to watch?

regi'd for the 5k run instead. and will spectate there as well.
less events this year due to cost-raise—hear Navy Yard charges stupidly big—, less sponsorship and the safety issue—from last yr's horrendous accident.
concentrated fun, i'd say.
for dudes and dudettes not been there. if in NYC vicinity, i RECOMMEND.
really fun and som enice energy out there.

looks like rain on saturday. it's going to be interesting in the cold and wet. the hairpin turn was nerve wrecking enough on dry pavement.

other than their facebook page—which is pretty well kept maintained and updated—there's a free iOS app called RHC Race Day.
once downloaded it gets activated around the race day—the Barcelona and Milan ones are still to come—with feeds, photos and race stats etc.
