any of you guys have a set of MTB wheels in decent condition kicking around that you'd want to trade / sell for cheap? the set i found with my single speed are already getting pretty pooched (seized spokes and all). i have lots of road / fixie stuff.

Ya.. remember, it was on the bike the other day when I came in. It's a bit hard to measure on the bike, but it's definitely short reach.. eyeballing it with a ruler, it looks like about 39 - 50 mm.

I'll definitely swing by bikechain tomorrow afternoon.. and don't put the order in yet, as I might want to add something to it.

EDIT:
Nashbar: blatant false advertising?

What happened to the front wheel I gave you? I have a s/s wheel for sale, axiom disc hub to a mavic rim, 15 tooth surly cog on there right now. It's in great shape, minus the stripped threads for the disc.

did you drop the seat when working on it? The seatpost should be all mashed up at the bottom otherwise. Unless a kid rides it and is growing into it. The reflectors say kid to me.

HAHA no it was down before I worked on it.... With any compression the seatpost wound mash into the shock i'm sure.

I raised it to work on it.

Guy who brought it in was 30 someish.. and I am pretty sure that it is his personal bike.

wtf is up with the 24" front wheel? It looks like there isn't enough room in that fork for a 26". Did it come that way??

I've ridden a Specialized P-series (lots of fun) with a 26" front and 24" rear (and seen bikes with 29" front, 26" rear), but the other way around seems incredibly wrong.

Well, then again, I guess that's par for the course on that bike.
