DAN - I think you should invest in a feed bag for constant nourishment. I'm sure you could fit a waffle in there.

Just watch out it might make you feel awful. (now say "falafel" and then say "feel awful" out loud. There ya go. Your welcome.)

As per orthotic related discussion. One thing I've gleaned from personal experience: Change them when they recommend to do so. Old orthotics can cause problems. My knee problems in the winter were taking sooo long to heal. Then I got new orthotics. Then my knees felt better.

As per Speedvagen. Meh. I mean having a custom frame in the sense that it fits you perfectly would be awesome. But this bike just looks like a plain green frame with Zipp wheels. And what's with the intergrated seatpost? Is it adjustable at all? Is anyone that confident about their saddle height so as to never adjust it ever? Even though the Vanilla look isn't my thing personally, I get it. It's really fancy and has incredible detail and a unique look. This one looks just too 'normal' for me to get excited about.

Oh, thanks. It's too hot in my apartment to cook. Now I have to go see if Queen Pita is still open.

Say hi to Gus. (queen pita)

Fuzzz 06-13-07 06:39 PM

on my way home tonight i had a nagging sense that my bike was feeling a little wobbly but I couldn't figure out why. That was until I got home and looked at my cranks... or should i say my unbelievably loose crank arms.

Other than proper torque, should I be using anything like lock-tight on my crank bolts?

You shouldn't need anything other than proper torque, maybe the taper on your bb spindle and/or crankarm is stripped?

Or it could just be loose, it happens.

You don't normally, but it won't hurt. I had a set of cranks once upon a time that was continually loosening on me. A bit of locktite and it was all fixed up. Make sure you get the kind that doesn't make a permanent bond. (blue I think)

Went to the island for the day today. The water's still a bit cold for swimming...but what a great day to spend at the beach! I think I'm gonna be hurting tomorrow though [/sunburn smiley]

Yeah, that was me.. she has brown hair, but close enough. ;) Was that show hot enough for you? If the band had been anything but excellent I don't think I could have stayed there.

I assume that's where Operator's comment came from since he met her last year when I had people over to watch the Tour prologue.
