I'm surprised people quit in '03 as that's when the file forums were formed, which frankly was the best part of SA ever. I swear that Toronto must have the highest per capita number of goons anywhere. |
hmmmmm to Operator.

Now if only they'd not be so angry if you try to bolt. I was just in a groove officer I didn't know all that was for me. :p |
Do you think flashing my gang hand symbols would work instead?

I hear there's good skiing in hell.... I'm game...faking deaf... I LIKE it.
Gangs.... like teletubbies vs the barnies? |

speaking of music and nerds, have any of you guys seen this site? It's pretty neat in a nerdy stats tracking kind of way. I like checking out what other people I know are listening to. Plus you can post things like your most recent tracks or last week's top artists elsewhere on the interwebs (ie. forum signature). When I get home and sync my ipod it updates the list with what I've listened to at work all day, which is why it currently says I haven't listened to anything since yesterday. Here's my page. I signed up around a year ago, but I only started using it constantly in the Fall sometime.
example: http://imagegen.last.fm/oz-tiger-aw/...mnambulant.gif The other nice thing is that based on your listening habits (or other people's) you can also use it for a custom net radio stream that's tailored to your tastes. Nice way to discover new stuff. That's all. :) |

I always get really thirsty after eating them but it's quick cheap food. ^^ above site is unoriginal. |
I'm partial to the veggie spring rolls instead

Especially since you can access the raw xml data and use it however you want, which is nice. It's actually something I plan to use in the project I have in mind. Plus the people who created it are friends of a friend and they're Good People (TM). Oh, and there's lots of hot girls. ps. Shiznaz: that's Erica my CK hookup in my friends list on there. :) |
hey op, i think you mean coriander/cilantro. and the lard is butter. and the meat you're referring to is headcheese. it's kind of like all the undesirable meat (snouts, ears, cheeks, etc.) melted off the cow/pig skull and extruded into a kind of sausage, then sliced up. bahahahahahaha the vietcong-sub police is out with a vengeance. the veggie sub (hold the butter) is a good way to go. they also have a gluten/soy/meatless version. co yen (since closed) also had a roast chicken and pork variety. damn, 2 for 3 bucks, can't go wrong.
forums..blogs..flickr..lastfm.. isn't it a pain in the ass to keep all these things updated? the interweb is damn high maintenance...i only wish i was as organized. good stalking fodder though. i think we should have more lunch rides when the weather ain't -394C. someone pick a neighbourhood and we all ride out and eat whatever's there. |
Critical Vacuum, take two. Anybody who wants to join veteran_youth and me for a relaxed cruise tonight at 930 should meet at the Honest Ed's parking lot. Early enough for you old timers? I'm recovering from the black plague, so it won't be too strenuous. I'm sure Andrew will now post something in which he calls me XXXII flavs. Werd!

XML EW. die die die.
And gokiburi is right. Don't listen to me. |
XML is Dog....

Hahahaha you wish 100000flavours. Roman Numerals are so last week, it's all about binary now! Anyway the hilarious bars are off the bike for now but will be back for CM for sure. Being fairly cold I would be down for an underground parking lot trackstand, backward riding, showboating type session, even though I have a race on sunday and should be piling on the miles!
So come one, come all, but remember: Nature abhors a vacuum. Andrew |
psssst 32=0011001100110010...is this right?
What Sunday race? |
actually 32 in binary is just "100000" :)
binary is easy. Each '1' basically means "on" and each '0' means off. The right-most position is "1", and then each digit as you move to the left doubles. so in the example of 32, each position of the above is 32-16-8-4-2-1. So every position is "off" except for 32. So, 33 would be 100001, 34 is 100010, 35 is 100011, etc. Nerdy enough for you all? moo ahahahahha! oh, and XML ownz j00 edit: btw, yes I *did* just go back and type out an explanation. ;) |
ps. ride tonight is a no-go again for me. I just got home like 20 minutes ago from riding around the city finishing up some shopping for my gf for her bday tomorrow, and now I'm eating, and then I have some freelance shizzle to work on. yay me.
|
What kind of bloody converter was that?
Now that I think of it of course that's not flippin' 32! XML is the **** Still at work no ride fo' me later. Som... are you all frantic about her bday? No going to go into base to the power of explanations? Hex and Oct? lol Remember "The geek shall inherit the earth" |
Didn't spend as much time with Oct and Hex in school.. :) I can count up and down in Hex fairly well just for HTML colour codes though, but the literal conversion is more of a calculator thing. :P
I just realized that the MacOS calculator has a "Programmer" mode that's totally insane. I wish I had that back when I was doing Computer Science. :P |
Computer science is fer n00bies
