i have one of these and i love it.
Call me The Breeze
After that, I was out front shoveling the walkway and a guy rode by on a Pugsley, Even he was having trouble with the snow (although he was managing to ride Sorauren). He was happy though, apparently he'd been "waiting all year to try this out!"

That guy is so screwed if the train comes
PS- There wasn't really a graphic. Too bad or I'd be RICH I say, RICH!
I can't wait to see guys with mullets and no hats or gloves pushing cabs out of snowbanks on the 6:00 news.

I got cabin fever and needed *cough* supplies *cough* Leslie to Yonge and Wellesley=25 minutes. Return trip 30mins. I don't know how anyone rides clipless and knobbies in this. Only had one major wobble when I hit a forgotten streetcar track at Broadview and Dundas....got a thumbs up from the very wide passing car. 14.2 KPH+23C+fullgoretex+IPOD=YAY!

Are you still on the skinny tires Keith?
Clipless did suck today (kept freezing/clogging), but the MTB didn't have pedals on it and that's what I had laying around without pulling some off another bike.

yup...23c and big flats with Sorels. Cut right thru the snow and when I did get a bit squirrelly the foot comes off easy for balance.

I'm amused by the reaction to the snow, I just got back from Cambridge (cancelled my plan to ride there, though ) - that being said, I've not been out there yet on the bike.
I find it worse when I stop and actually find out how slippy it was. I had a wobble on Sorauren Thursday night, but didn't get phased until I stopped in at home for a quick bite before heading east, stopping and walking up my driveway made me realise how slippy my street was and I chose to walk my bike to Roncesvalles after.
I left my bike at work on Friday as I decided to hop on the bus out of town whilst still suitably tanked up. At least the TTC was free when I got back into town tonight, w00t.
PS, *******s parking too far left in the curb lane on streetcar roads FTL (streetcar home took forever because of having like 1" clearance with some of them).
PPS, also cured my overheating/getting cold problem - it was my backpack. I'm a furnace, so the extra insulation on my back was doing me in - I put my rack and pannier on for Thursday night/Friday and all was just fine again, though the weird weighting on the bike took a moment to get used to again (not used the rack since September).

Riding yesterday was pretty fun, except for the hidden tracks, as Keith mentioned.

Yeah, the commute this morning wasn't as bad as I had expected. In fact, I kinda had fun. The earlier snowfalls we had this Fall were much wetter/icier, but the roads this morning were just kind of slushy. Not many of those really uneven layers of compacted snow/ice to knock you off balance. I also rode over the 2' high embankment at the N-E corner of Bathurst/College on my way to Manic. I assumed I would fall but I rode it... clipped in at that!
I spent almost all of yesterday playing Mass Effect on the 360. Hooray for video games. (Plus a hard trainer workout, just so I didn't feel like a *complete* slob )

Also -- does anyone know what a landlord's responsibilities are with respect to snow removal in our fair city?
