i never tried it because the shipping seems expensive to canada. depending on what it is you're after it might be easier to ask one of the TO shops that carries soma stuff to order it for you. what parts are you looking for?

Hub update. From usps "your item left the United States from NJI at 12:36 PM on May 4, 2008."

Thanks man, it was a boatload of fun. Italy loooooooooves turtles, almost as much as Jonathan the Zombie.

Check out the follow up interview with that little zombie guy. He was caught seriously off guard!

I know this may have been discussed 10000 times already, but could someone please humor me and reiterate the peculiarities of ordering parts from the UK? I am ordering a Charge saddle - I don't think there is a Canadian distributor. Is there a certain value that you need to keep under in order to avoid heavy duty? Thanks! Bob bop!

Hi, Long Time Lurker here! I was compelled to reply after watching watching the above video link (A great improvement over the 2 girls one cup video link). Holy <insert expletive here!> Was that all real kids? It was scripted, right? It IS tough to watch, but you're so right, shot damn well! Music was great too!

Oh, and to validate my posting here: Posting near Bathurst and Harbord, and I ride a Langster with a white rear deep-V. First heard about this MASSIVE thread from Robin, at Curbside.

Best way to find out is to call Revenue and Customs Canada. From what they told me when I called about the hubs was no duty on bike parts.

I was kinda liking the black Paké cranks that would go with my Paké. I'm looking to replace/repair the BB but I also want new cranks for it. IF I go for anything other than square taper, I MUST replace the cranks. If I replace with another square taper BB I can fiddle around. Campy wouldn't be frowned upon, in the 170mm area. Used is fine, as new rings can be gotten. The gold Sugino looks pretty funky and blingy. The mismatched Sugino (old) drive side and Peugeot non-drive crank will then get slapped on the MTB I believe, to replace the failing/failed XT stuff if it can't be fixed...

Just a quick reminder about the first DSR Don ride tomorrow night. Meetup between 6.30 and 6.45 tomorrow at Pottery Road....

pyze-guy 05-05-08 06:19 PM

Beautiful ride in the Don tonight. Can't make the DSR ride tomorrow, have to work. If the Thursday ride happens I'm good for that.

Poor Cam, blows 2 tubes before we even get to Pottery Rd.

We'll miss you tomorrow but I'll be up for Thursday nights through the spring/summer. This week looks like rain and it's the Collective's Seasons premier at 8 on Thursday (No Regrets in Liberty Village).

TRaffic Jammer 05-05-08 06:24 PM

b/c he has a bent now, he's cursed. I'm on a work til 9-ish week so no DSR for me this week.
PM for Mr Glick.. Paging Mr. Glick.

cavit8 05-05-08 06:53 PM

Not the recumbent's fault. The rims I'm using have rim inserts that allow you to use Presta valved tubes. Apparently at the lower pressure for mtb, it allows the valve to flex and sheared a hole in two tubes. Thanks to Doug, though, who stopped then rode home and back for a tube to try to get me back on the road. Such actions restore my faith in human nature.

And anyway, it's not a "bent".

I wonder if the kid knows Daddy's trading his bike for a case of beer.

Foo: no, the guys in Recumbent call them 'bents.

exhibitx 05-05-08 07:19 PM

~Stuart~ 05-05-08 07:56 PM

So with the sprints that are starting this week, is there like a ride before/after? or do we just kinda meet up at the place, ride there, then head home?

[Thinking In Text]

Usually someone sees the cross and asks if they're a Christian band at this point but I'm guessing that won't happen after this particular video.
