<--- The Right Honorable Arch-Duke wants in

TRaffic Jammer 05-08-06 09:51 AM

I'll have to scan and post the lovely birthday sign that even has a reference to Traffic Jammer that the kids made.

I didn't know they handed out titles now at school..... ^^^^

somnambulant 05-08-06 09:56 AM

I have virtually nothing left in 1" I had ton's of Shimano cheapies but installed the last one last week. I might have 1 NOS XT rubber cup one left in the stash...I will have a look. Installation $15.

* Please only say you want to go if you for sure want to go. This should be a solid list of people who are interested. I don't want to get to the point of narrowing down a date and then have a bunch of people say "oh, I don't think I can afford it" or something. Figure $50 or so (correct me if I'm wrong please!) and basically a full Saturday. We can maybe go up for the intro class, do that, grab some dinner someplace, and then stick around for the evening races.

I'm in. depending on how may folks want to go we MAY be able to get everyone there without the need of the Magic Bus...altho the idea of a bunch of us on that thing is very interesting. There is a fabulous Mexican/Central American restaurant about 10 mins up Wellington...the Papusa's are amazing.

TRaffic Jammer 05-08-06 10:16 AM

Yea that bus looks expensive and not quite to our needs as it would have to sit around for at least a few hours. Buddies with vans time?
Mexican feast after tracking.... sounds like an interesting trip home....lol

Ya, definitely renting (+ paying $10-$15 for insurance I'm guessing),

Edit: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

qqy 05-08-06 10:50 AM

Even though I'm not a fixie rider, I'd love to go out to the London Velodrome. I'm down for the ~$60 and will help cover the gas for anyone who can drive.

sweep242 05-08-06 10:54 AM

Im in for sure.

Well if most of the folks already committed to going are not bringing bikes, I can take bikes for others going in a different vehicle. I will be bringing a bike....anyone else on the list bringing one?
Maybe I will bring 2!! NICE!!

eyefloater 05-08-06 11:05 AM

Well, if someone has a spare set of track drops I may just bring the Pake for ****s and giggles.

operator 05-08-06 11:05 AM

I can drive also, but since I have a car I can obviously only fit me + 3 and no bikes.

operator 05-08-06 11:26 AM

Please count me in, but only if we aren't going this weekend. Cause I seriously do not have enough $.

I don't think we could get all this planned that quickly anyway, so no worries. We should probably call in advance to make sure they can accomodate a group anyway, just to make sure there will be enough bikes/track-space.

cavit8 05-08-06 12:56 PM

Depending on when this is happening I can probably bring a vehicle with room for three people plus me and four to five bicycles. Unfortunately, I don't have a free weekend until June and paddling season is upon us, so I'll need lots of advance warning.
