I haven't changed anything in my set up recently though, so I think this is likely just something that has built up over time, especially (as TJ mentioned) since I've stepped up my distances lately. |
I read somewhere that if you're having soreness in the front of your knee you should make sure your seat isn't too low, See this fit stuff pisses me off. |
I've done the same thing, move it down a half inch .... move it up a quarter, forward, back , forward again slightly. I've found that as one's riding situation changes, it can necessitate the adjusting of one's position ever so slightly. New longer distances, new route....pumping a higher gear(N/A), cruising vs. pushing. If I crank home HARD it'll hurt the fronts of my knees as I'm really pullin back as I go over on my roatation, if I cruise home reasonably nada.

jyossarian, any luck with finding cycle therapy? google maps should give you exact directions from where you're staying. |

That Moots is a sweet lookin' ride. I do so wish I could get my hands on a year one or two Trimble(sp?) MTB from back in the day. Carbon frame of the Gods. http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/3...rossjpg3nh.jpg http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/8...mblejpg5rj.jpg Bear in mind this design is almost 20 years old now. Hey I got excited when AlpineStar made E-stays Check out the crazy hunka-hunka- aluminum stay/dropout...made for a nice opener too. |
Yea, they broke real fun. A couple messer brethren in MTL were factory riders and they'd jump em off stair cases. I just love the design of the frame, it rode like a tank with a gyroscope in it.

It nice to have a shoe that doesn't look like Walt Disney threw up all over em.

It nice to have a shoe that doesn't look like Walt Disney threw up all over em. Europe Bound has some nice Diadora Mtn shoes right now for $90 I believe. A messenger buddy of mine just bought his second pair after the first blew up after 2 years. 2 years under a messenger seems pretty durable to me.

Anyone have experience with the Sidi bullet 2's? I'm thinking of picking them up, as I have a gift certificate from MEC. They are kind of pricey at 170 bucks-and don't look much better made than the cheap shoes. Still, I am tired of these cheap POS shoes blowing apart after 8 months of use. I'd like to get a couple of seasons at least.
