I think people uh perished in most of that video... Who the hell remixes something like that with music.

STEEKER 05-29-06 10:10 PM

Hey I found another seat post from Cycle Solutions that has double set screws for tiltadjustment maybe that will cure the crotch pain

operator 05-29-06 10:33 PM

Well it looks like I won't be #6666, sleeping now (earliest in like years).

sr20det 05-29-06 10:39 PM

you should try a harder/stiffer saddle.
sounds like something that goes against logic. but it works.
saddles w/ gel padding and stuff is usually the worst for you. only useable for short distances.

Speaking of 666(6), next Tuesday is the official Day of Slayer for June 6, 2006 (6/6/6). Don't forget! :)

Part of the CBN event at the Gladstone tonight, there is an auction, music, exhibits I think & general fun-ness.

I'm thinking about going, but I feel pretty beat now, my messer company called me up & asked me to work cause of that strike dealie so I went in and covered a bunch resulting in a fatigued funk I feel now. Maybe I'll show up after dinner and watch you guys n gals race? You all any you going?

Hmmmmmm...another poorly advertised Goldsprint event. Go figure.
Did anyone go?

Wow....A video of cars mowing down people. That $hit is nasty. I think I am gonna have nightmares for a week at least.

somnambulant 05-30-06 07:01 AM

If anyone is going to be on campus on Thursday, I'm going to check this out:
http://www.sustainability.utoronto.c...cts/bikechain/

(the connection is timing out on me right now, but that's the right url)

operator 05-30-06 07:37 AM

somnambulant is a n00bzor. Bikechain used to run out of the sustainability office at St. George/Bloor in the underground parking garage. They had a full set of park tools you can use for free although i've never tried.

Unfortuantely June 1st is going to be raining like crazy. Anyone want to go for a ride at 4-5pm?

Edit: Bah Shiznaz.

TRaffic Jammer 05-30-06 07:39 AM

Only found out about the spints when Sam posted. I looked at the site and it's still got an old race...not updated. It's a shame too I think Toronto would be such a hot GoldSprint City if it were a bit less messer centric. BUT it is early in the resurection so I'll remain optimistic. It used to be a big deal back in the day. I think cycling in general is on the verge of something huge in terms public exposure.

Uh... Is that like safe?

gokiburi 05-30-06 08:01 AM

never ignore the tell-tale click of loose crank bolts. i was so looking forward to my ride home last night, and not even a few meters out of the door, i feel my pedal give out with no resistance..looking down, i notice my chain is off my ring. then i notice that the ring has totally buckled and 3 bolts are missing!!!
keith, do you still have any of those bolt wrenches? how about chainrings in 130 bcd? i think that's the size of what you gave me last time.
