As it's unlikely I'll ride SS or get a threaded cassette anytime soon, it's gone. Which makes me sad, Campy is like jewelry :( Soon to be on the block may be my black levels :( :(

And remember Lance hooked someone's purse on his bars too.. was that last year?

yeah he got his brake lever hooked in some fan's musette bag which yanked his bars to the side. and let's not forget merckx getting punched in the face by some surly fan. cycling is the only pro sport in the world where fans can get that close to athletes; if i were a pro i'd be all for increaced crowd control.

I WILL give your wheel/hub/bmxfw as well as the contis a good home. I will love it and pet it, hug it and squeeze it ...I will name it George.

STEEKER 07-03-06 10:11 AM

I will give your Campy items a good home.

sheer showmanship.. 45s lead, so he decides to do a 360 in the middle of a stage just for the crowd. :D

I have the live updates from the Tour site as well as the visual of the gaps. It's not like being there, nor even watching it on TV but I can gleen a sense of what's going on.

Just finished up some to do stuff off my list. Going down to the market for around 2:30 anyone?
Cheers

STEEKER 07-03-06 11:13 AM

I'd be up for a night ride to PortCredit or Pickering,, I just got back from the lake Super hot out

SamHouston 07-03-06 11:38 AM

Man, any rider on the Tour that gets jacked by a careless fan should be able to pound the fan mercilessly until they feel they have to get going again. With their level of fitness and having a high heart rate going in I bet they could do it. It could be part of the spectator appeal
