Yah no one wants ps3's anymore. It's all about the WII.

That is exactly what I have in mind for my winter bike but with drops. Is that a threadless stem on a threaded fork? How does that work??

Brunch with the inlaws and then video games with a buddy in brampton this afternoon. Rode out early for milk this morning it's brisk but nice if you're dress for it.

Actually, it's quite elegant. I hope mine looks as good when it's finally ready in time for spring.

I seem to recall the signs saying it isn't cleared.

zippered 01-21-07 03:03 PM

yeah, no winter maintenance... and although they are not clear at the moment, they were still fun! :)

There's a weird smooth snow-ice coating on the trails that's very amusing to ride on where it wasn't walked on before it froze.

well thank you. i think the all black scheme helps that. we'll see how elegant it is after a winter of salt. i don't mind running it through hell; the frame is bent and the BB threads are seized so it's in there permanently.

jeremywhitehorn 01-21-07 04:48 PM

has anyone else seen the new bianchi street fixies w/ aluminum frames? i saw them at urbane the other day and they look sort of like the track pros, but with bosses for a rear brake and a carbon fork. kind of an odd hybrid?

sweep242 01-21-07 05:28 PM

You mean the San Jose? Sheldon breaks it down well.

I agree with the elegant comment black & chrome go well together.
Cheers

no, not the san jose, it's a track-styled street fixie. no fender eyelets, no clearance for big tires or anything and oversixed aluminum frame. i believe it's called the "freemont"

the photos isn't great and the brake levers are underwhelming but it looks okay in person. a nice shaped tubes, but the rear brake bosses are a bit off putting. screams "single speed messenger look-a-like".
