What does your bike weight? post a pic and the weight

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What does your bike weight? post a pic and the weight

I went to my LBS earlier today to pick up a derailleur cable and they had a scale there. I knew I shouldn't have asked to weight my bike. It would have been better for me to imagine my bike was 19 lbs The owner picked it up and looked at me and the scaled passed 19 and stopped at 21.5 lbs. I was a like I was under the impression my ride was maybe 20 lbs. Everything is still pretty new so it is what it is. Just would like to get it to 20 lbs or lighter without spending a fortune. Kinda curious if this is an average weight for an endurance bike.

Endurance and crit bikes can weigh very close to the same. There is no reason for an endurance bike to be heavier than a more aggressive geometry bike. You must have a heavy frame and heavy parts. It all adds up.

Man that's a pretty ride and 17 lbs is fantastic. I can only wish to get my ride that light. Is this carbon?

I have a chinese made Ti frame (Habanero) with the lowest end Campy/FSA/Bontrager parts and still hitting 19.
Does it really matter unless you race competitively, my race bike is 16 and change, but most days the 19 pounder is more fun to ride

18.5 lbs as pictured. The wheels are "super clyde" ready boat anchors though, so that would be an easy place to loose weight, but I need to lose weight before the bike does!
